We don't have to reinvent everything. There is a long tradition of debates about alternatives to the mainstream forms of education..and in favor of a more balance approach..there has been notable and great pionners as Montessori, Pestalozzi, Piaget, Dewey, etc..projects like SummerHill....and it is important to recognize that the conversation is not working in a vacuum. It is important to make the alternative the mainstream. All alternative project are based on an personalized program and these principles are actually the principle of good education and it is bizarre that they have been confined to the alternative of mainstream education. Our job is to move these principles to the center.

JOHN HOLT (1923-1985) an American author and educator, a proponent of homeschooling or unschooling, and a pioneer in youth rights theory. 

After many years of working within the school system, John Holt became disillusioned with it. He believed that "children who were provided with a rich and stimulating learning environment would learn what they are ready to learn, when they are ready to learn it".[7]Holt believed that children did not need to be coerced into learning; they would do so naturally if given the freedom to follow their own interests and a rich assortment of resources. This line of thought came to be called unschooling. In 1980, Holt said:
"I want to make it clear that I don’t see homeschooling as some kind of answer to badness of schools. I think that the home is the proper base for the exploration of the world which we call learning or education. Home would be the best base no matter how good the schools were."[5]

Dret de les persones a exercir l’anomenada “Objecció Fiscal a les Despeses Militars”

L'objecció fiscal és un acte de desobediència civil a l'Estat, però a la vegada és una aposta positiva per a un desenvolupament social solidari. Es nega a Hisenda una part de l'impost sobre la renda, però aquest diner no queda en mans del declarant, sinó que es desvia a una destinació alternativa escollida per ell mateix.

L’Associació per la Criança i l’Educació “La Karantoina” és una entitat sense ànim de lucre que, entre d’altres tasques, promou una sèrie de valors personals, familiars i socio-culturals amb l’objectiu de participar en la creació d’un mòn en el què els èssers humans ens poguem entendre i respectar en la nostra diversistat, diferència i individualitat.

Tot i fixar l’atenció en l’estat de la infància i la família, l’Associació La Karantoina vol integrar-se en l’actitud, el pensament i l’ideal humanista que promou el benestar a nivell d’espècie. És per aquest motiu que en els seus estatuts es contempla l’Associació com a defensora i promotora dels Drets Humans.

En aquest context, donat el plantejament actual de l’Estat en l’ús de la recaptació de “l’impost de la renda de les persones físiques”, i acceptant que aquesta Associació està constituida per persones físiques que no estem d’acord en el destí al que es dirigeixen part dels diners aconseguits en aquesta recaptació (ens referim específicament als diners dedicats a la despesa militar) redactem aquest escrit amb el que volem donar recolzament al dret de les persones a exercir l’anomenada “Objecció Fiscal a les Despeses Militars”, i subscriure la resolució que el dia 2 de desembre de 1993 es va aprovar a la Comissió de Llibertats Civils del Parlament Europeu, que diu textualment:

"El dret fonamental de l'objecció de consciència també es refereix a la contribució en els impostos, i per tant es fa una crida als estats membres a preparar una resposta a les objeccions de consciència de persones que estan obligades al sosteniment del sistema militar mitjançant el pressupost nacional".

Per a fer possible la pau proposem no sostenir el sistema militar. Per a fer possible la pau proposem sostenir tot col·lectiu, entitat o activitat que procuri l’aplicació i extensió dels drets humans i treballi a favor d’una vida digna, plena, solidària, saludable, respectuosa, feliç.

Perquè volem fer-ho possible amb actituds i accions noviolentes, amb aquest escrit el nostre col·lectiu decideix sumar-se, informar-se i divulgar el missatge de l’objecció fiscal a les despeses militars.
